Christine Holihan-Boothe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Services Provider for ADHD (ADHD-CCSP). She holds both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work from Rutgers University and brings over a decade of experience in the mental health field, including five years of clinical practice.
Christine works with children, teens, and adults (ages 10–65), and specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, and grief. She uses an integrative, client-centered approach that blends Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic therapy. Her style is both supportive and collaborative, always working to meet clients where they are and guide them toward living in alignment with their values.
Clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where they are invited to show up fully as themselves. Christine values creativity and flexibility in therapy—sessions might include drawing, games, or even video games as a way to build connection and foster meaningful dialogue. She also enjoys incorporating music into her work whenever possible, helping clients access emotion and expression in unique and personalized ways.
Christine takes a compassionate, acceptance-based perspective to help clients navigate challenges while still committing to a fulfilling life. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally competent, and is passionate about creating space for people to explore their stories without fear of shame or judgment.
What drew Christine to the field was a lifelong desire to help others and a deep curiosity about people and their lived experiences. She finds it a true honor to walk with clients through some of their most vulnerable moments and to witness their strength and transformation over time.
Outside of her clinical work, Christine enjoys reading, playing guitar, singing, and immersing herself in RPG video games. Her self-care includes getting quality sleep and making intentional space for “me time” to recharge and reconnect with herself.
