Nina Moore is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides medication management and utilizes psychotherapy techniques for individuals ages 6 and older. Licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, Nina works with clients navigating a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, and ADHD.
Nina holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. Her clinical practice is grounded in both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches, and she brings a warm, collaborative presence to every session. She believes in treating the whole person—blending clinical expertise with compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for each client’s lived experience.
Clients working with Nina can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where both emotional and medical needs are addressed. She believes that therapy and medication are most effective when guided by open dialogue and mutual understanding. One question Nina often asks clients is, “How do you expect the medication to make you feel?”—helping individuals feel empowered and informed in their treatment journey.
Nina is trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and culturally competent. She tailors her care to meet each client’s goals, values, and preferences, and believes that healing begins with truly being heard and understood.
Nina was drawn to the field of mental health in part due to her own family’s history with various mental health conditions. Her firsthand understanding of the importance of compassionate care fuels her dedication to helping others feel supported and hopeful. The most meaningful part of her work is seeing clients begin to feel better and reconnect with their sense of self and possibility.
Outside of her clinical work, Nina enjoys spending time with her husband and children, doing puzzles, and working in the garden. She practices self-care by getting her nails and hair done—small moments that help her feel grounded and refreshed.
