Nina Kamelia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified School Social Worker, and a Clinical Supervisor. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware and brings over 15 years of experience to her work with individuals and families. As the Clinical Director at Mind, Body, and Soul Therapy & Counseling, Nina leads with warmth, clarity, and an unwavering commitment to clinical excellence.

Nina specializes in working with individuals navigating trauma, substance use, chronic mental health concerns, personality disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and relational challenges. Her training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-focused approaches. She blends evidence-based techniques with a direct, collaborative, and authentic therapeutic style that supports growth through connection.

In sessions, clients can expect a conversational and grounded environment that invites curiosity, reflection, and empowerment. Nina partners with each client to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their strengths, needs, and goals. She understands that healing is not linear and approaches resistance with empathy, helping clients move through barriers at their own pace.

Nina provides therapy to adolescents (17 and older) through older adults, offering an LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally competent space. Her approach is flexible, incorporating tools such as mindfulness and creative interventions as guided by what best meets the needs of each individual client.

Nina's dedication to therapy stems from a deep commitment to fostering enduring change. Her goal is not merely to offer temporary relief, but to equip individuals with lasting tools, build self-awareness, and cultivate profound, personal insight. What she finds most meaningful in her work is witnessing the transformation that occurs when clients begin to see themselves clearly, gain confidence, and reclaim their sense of purpose and peace.

Outside of her clinical work, Nina enjoys spending time with her family, watching true crime documentaries, and diving into creative projects. She practices self-care by reconnecting with simple pleasures: long walks, iced coffee, a fresh nail day, and the occasional massage to reset.

One quote that resonates with her work is:
