Sabrina Starts, MA, LAC, NCC
Sabrina is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She received her masters degree from La Salle University for Professional Clinical Counseling. Sabrina has been assisting clients in managing anxiety, depression, self-harm, stress, truama, anger, and self-esteem. She also has experience in working with clients in crisis management who have been experiencing suicidality.
Sabrina works alongside her clients in a collaborative way to tailor her approach to the individual. She uses evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Child Play Therapy. Sabrina strives to create a nonjudgmental and empathetic therapy space to better assist clients in understanding themselves. Sabrina believes that therapy is a powerful space for healing and growth. Through her efforts she aims to make the clients feel heard and supported on their individual journey towards personal wellness.
Sabrina resides in Philadelphia, PA with her cat,Alaska. She enjoys spending her down time attending concerts, playing ukulele, doing yoga, crafting, going to the beach, and visiting theme parks.
