Jess is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rowan University. She has over a decade of counseling experience with children and families, and also enjoys clinically supervising associate counselors. Jess emphasizes the use of evidence-based treatments in her practice, and educating her clients as to the therapeutic process.
Jess specializes in working with children and adolescents with disruptive behavior, ADHD, Autism, anxiety, trauma, and LGBTQ+ concerns. Her work with adults has centered on parenting, LGBTQ+ related issues and anxiety. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. In addition to using effective treatments, Jess highly values the development of a strong therapeutic rapport to support clients through their treatment. She takes an empathic and nonjudgmental approach to establishing the therapeutic relationship.
