Danielle Ruiz, LPC

Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She earned her Master’s degree from Thomas Jefferson University’s Community and Trauma Counseling program. Danielle has been working adolescents and adults for 5 years. She has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. She is working towards her certification in Perinatal Mood Disorders and has experience working with mothers who are experiencing postpartum as well as parenting stressors.

Danielle values the therapeutic relationship and believes it is one of the most important parts of therapy. She pulls from evidenced-based practices such as CBT and DBT. She also focuses on a trauma-informed approach. Danielle is committed to supporting and validating her clients while creating a safe and non-judgmental environment.  She is also bi-lingual in Spanish and English.

Danielle lives in South Jersey with her family. She enjoys traveling, reading, and a good show to binge.

Danielle sees clients ages ranging in age from middle childhood to middle adulthood. Danielle is dually licensed in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is able to see clients who reside in NJ or PA.
