Amy Schulster, LAC
Amy is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist. Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree from New York University in Dance and earned her Master’s Degree from Rider University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Dance/Movement Therapy.
Amy’s experience in the mental health field includes working with teens and adolescents with anxiety and depression and all ages with eating disorders. She sees clients from adolescents to late adulthood. She specializes in Dance/Movement Therapy and uses modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her approach is grounded in client-centered therapy where she sees the client as autonomous and capable of reaching their highest potential. She believes in a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing that each person’s journey is unique and requires a tailored strategy. Her goal is to empower individuals to understand themselves better, develop coping strategies, and build a supportive network that fosters healing and growth.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys living in the city of Philadelphia, exploring new restaurants, and dancing on her free time. Amy is available and taking new clients.
